The Cayman Islands is our Caribbean home away. We’ve had a long association with Thompson Resorts (owners of Wyndham Reef Resort), Cayman Visitor and other hospitality organizations. But when COVID came, the Caymans shut down. Really shut down. No cruise ships. No tourists. Mandatory quarantine for the select few with permission to visit.

The business community asked us to help them take action.

So we created with the original purpose of generating public dialog around ways to reopen the island - safely. In addition to the site, we built a content and social media strategy to help Caymanians access fact-based information about virus mitigation protocols and how other destination-based countries were handling re-opening. As the situation evolved, we became a partner to the efforts by the Cayman government to ensure high rates of vaccination through a digital advertising PSA campaign encouraging islanders to get vaccinated.

The result? As of this writing 73.8% of Cayman Island residents are vaccinated - one of the highest rates in the world. And the best part? The country is re-opening to tourism as of September, 2021.
